Philly Streets

"Home" was this apartment of another zoomer friend. This one's name was Dirty Jersey. He let me crash there a few times a week. All the other times, I spent on the street, walking around downtown and the historic area of Philly.

I met other zoomers during my stay in Philadelphia. One of them was named Hans Swirlio. I actually met him through grindr, but we were familiar with each other from Zoom. I met him at his place. His husband was out of town, but knew that I was coming by to visit. They lived in downtown Philly in one of the skyscrapers. When I got there, what started out as a hook up ended up being just two guys hanging out, and getting high. That was more my pace.

I often frequented the bathhouse Samson 2020. Mostly there just to have somewhere to stay that was "drug friendly". That being they know that it happens in their establishment, but as long as you're not being a shit head on drugs messing up other customer's enjoyment, they won't bother you. I really didn't utilize the facility as a place to hook up. I often stayed to myself, with my door closed, getting high for hours on end.

I ended up meeting the manager of the other bathhouse in Philadelphia, Club Philly. I found out he was looking for someone to come and work there deep cleaning and repairing the club while they were closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. Oh did I mention that I met the manager at a parTy at Dirty Jersey's apartment? So what did I do with half my time while mopping the black walls and ceilings across all five floors of this sex club... I smoke meth with my boss. We got high for a while, then would go work for a while. It took me the entire week that I was working there scrubbing walls and ceilings. We parted ways when the owner found out that I was working there and he fired me.

During my time in Philly, I still saw Deaflephant on the regular, this friend ship still remains to this day. I lost touch with Dirty Jersey when I accidently moved to New York City, after spending a month and a half on the streets in Philadelphia.

Long story short, I accidently moved to NYC when I decided to take a train ride three hours and visit someone else from Zoom. Once again, that meeting did not go as expected, and I was expelled from his house. There I was, alone. In New York City. Not knowing anybody except for some zoomers.
